So why do we claim that such a product has never been possible before? Aside from the obvious engineering challenges to manufacture a pure diamond diaphragm in the shape of a loudspeaker cone and other technological innovations never seen in any other product, Polymer Logic also establishes a new benchmark in value.

The diamond midrange cone in the Polymer Logic currently exists in only one commercially available loudspeaker system, the $250,000/pr Marten Design Coltrane Supreme. The tweeter is a modified Supravox TG1, completely hand made in France, it utilizes a titanium dome covered in a pure layer of solid gold. This tweeter is so costly that it remains a mere fantasy for even the makers of world’s flagship speaker systems. The hand-made vapor deposited titanium woofer is currently only available in the highly

sought after $20,000/pr Magico Mini monitor…except the Polymer Logic uses a pair of them per side.

Without even mentioning the complex constrained layer damped cabinet with an Italian piano lacquer finish and exotic components that make up the cross-over circuitry, the Polymer Logic is clearly an astonishing value for $23,500/pr and contains more pure diamond and gold then you’ll find in any $500,000 diamond engagement ring.

How is this possible? The Polymer Logic is a totally different approach in manufacturing, supply chain management, and process integration. The result is a business model that is never applied in state-of-the-art products; however, it allows serious music lovers and audiophiles to take advantage of quality and technologies that are not feasible at this price level.

Of course, transducer technology is only the starting point of a loudspeaker that can achieve greatness. In a day and age when many high-end audio companies are run by hobbyists with limited resources and poor R&D, the industry is flooded with poorly designed loudspeakers sporting exotic and high quality drivers. Among other elements, the pervasive design philosophy at Polymer Audio Technology is that the heart of a loudspeaker system is undoubtedly the cross-over. Today, the cross-over network remains the least understood and for this reason the least discussed aspect of loudspeaker systems. Cross-over networks used in the Polymer Logic are not simply a variation of textbook filter formulas, but a completely new innovation. The extraordinary complexity of these designs is beyond the reach of vast majority of loudspeaker manufacturers.

And because the Polymer Logic is assembled by master craftsmen and encased in a luxurious Steinway finish hand lacquered cabinet, it is a timeless instrument that will bring musical pleasure for a lifetime. The potential owner should also consider that it is unlikely that a better material will be found for loudspeaker cones than pure diamond. The marketing adage “diamonds are forever” has never been more true.
